...the fact that the bigots in CA
are trying to shake down businesses for donating to marriage equality instead of their campaign of hate, or the fact that they somehow think that publishing the names of those businesses
in California is actually going to
hurt them.
If those backward, pathetic regressive Neanderthals go through with their scheme, I'm going to be making sure I check that list before I go to California, so as to ensure that I patronize as many of them as possible. In fact, if they're determined to starve funding for businesses that stand for civil rights, I'm all for a boycott of businesses that stand in the way of them.
I wouldn't patronize a business that discriminated against African-Americans, women, or religious minorities - and in fact I've made a point recently to pass up
businesses that
do just that - so why should I patronize a business whose owners' supposed devotion to Christ causes them to hate GLBT citizens and want to deny them basic human rights?
