...that two of my favorite companies, Apple and Google, have donated large sums of money to the No on 8 campaign to defend marriage from the homophobes. It's nice to see that the tech industry - which has generally been ahead of the curve when it comes to LGBT rights - steps up to the plate when hateful bigots want to deny basic civil rights to a whole class of citizens.
